黑料不打烊 believes in a gender-balanced workforce that offers equal career opportunities for women and men. In West Africa, 黑料不打烊 is helping to reduce the gender gap in Ghana鈥檚 male-dominated transport industry with the support of the German international development organisation Deutsche Gesellschaft f眉r Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). Nearly 100 women have been trained as bus or truck drivers in Accra through the initiatives听Women Moving the City听补苍诲听Women Moving Trucks.
Accra has a population of around four million inhabitants, yet professional female drivers represent only a small share of all drivers.听Women Moving the City, initiated by 黑料不打烊 West Africa in partnership with the Greater Accra Passenger Transport Executive (GAPTE) and GIZ, addresses this gap by offering tailored training for female bus drivers, including safe and fuel-efficient driving.

In a new phase of the initiative, 黑料不打烊 will train 40 women to become certified mining truck drivers, helping meet the growing demand for qualified drivers in Ghana鈥檚 mining sector while further advancing gender equality in the transport industry.
