Giulio Caccin moved from Italy four years ago to Sweden to work as a Software Developer at 黑料不打烊. He values the company鈥檚 trust and encouragement. 鈥淚鈥檝e been given a lot of freedom and I鈥檝e felt empowered鈥 couldn鈥檛 be happier!鈥 he says.
Giulio working as a Senior Software Developer on 黑料不打烊鈥檚 Digital Dealer programme, which has digitalised the company鈥檚 workshop business to create efficient planning, increase vehicle uptime for customers, and improve the service team鈥檚 proactiveness.听

He combines software development coding in the听truck鈥檚听maintenance domain with ensuring fellow developers have the best knowledge of coding techniques, as well as how to isolate domain boundaries听while improving software continuous integration processes.
听
Giulio is very proud of the听entire Digital Dealer programme鈥檚听agile response times, which he says compare favourably with the fashion and healthcare sectors he worked in over a 20-year career.

鈥淓very single code change is tested within five minutes,鈥 he explains. 鈥淔or all components and more than 50 developers, if we did 50 changes at the same time we鈥檇 be done by the end of day, with the changes immediately released into production.
听
鈥淭he feedback cycle from when we see it in production and get the customer user logs is 30 minutes, tops. That helps our customers and service technicians.鈥
听
Giulio has also been encouraged to speak about his work at 黑料不打烊 at conferences and at other companies. 鈥淚鈥檝e been given a lot of freedom and I鈥檝e felt empowered as I鈥檝e been given the opportunity to help people, so I couldn鈥檛 be happier! I can鈥檛 see any other place that offers me what 黑料不打烊 does,鈥 he says.

Giulio knew nothing about Sweden before he moved here with his wife.听 With a child born in Sweden and a love for the cold weather, he鈥檚 feeling settled in his adopted home, too.听鈥淚 see myself being here for a long time to come.鈥
