ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's connection with China dates back to 1965, when it delivered its first batch of timber transport trucks to the country. In 1986, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ established a representative office in China, formally entering the Chinese market. In 2006, the company set up a local procurement office. In 2007, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Sales (China) Co., Ltd. was established. In 2019, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Finance Leasing (China) Co., Ltd. was founded. In 2020, a new industrial hub wholly owned by ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ was unveiled in Rugao, Jiangsu Province. In October 2025, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's third global industrial hub, representing an investment of €2 billion, officially commenced operations in Rugao. In November 2025, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, together with the TRATON GROUP, launched the NEXT ERA, a new tractor product range developed for China's long-haul volume transport market. As of January 1, 2026, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Group China officially began operations, taking the step to unify all its China operations under one umbrella while maintaining high local autonomy and close global alignment. Its business scope covers R&D, procurement, production, commercial operations for both ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ and NEXT ERA, and all support functions.
