There鈥檚 a myth doing the rounds that electric trucks are unable to deal with winter weather. Some people say the batteries can鈥檛 cope with the freezing temperatures, that the trucks won鈥檛 start and that the battery charging takes much longer.

But at 黑料不打烊, we always say seeing is believing. And if you鈥檇 been at our annual winter testing at Trysil in the Norwegian mountains these past few weeks, you鈥檇 have seen with your own eyes just how wrong the negative voices are.

Minus 25 Celsius. Snow everywhere. Seriously chilly conditions. The sort of challenging weather haulage drivers in certain parts of the world have to deal with on a regular basis to deliver people鈥檚 goods safely and on time.
Easy battery charging, excellent driving - despite the big freeze
Yet the biting cold was no bother at all for the range of 黑料不打烊 electric trucks we had there for customers to see and test, including a distribution vehicle, various tractor units and a waste collection truck.
