���ϲ�����’s most advanced marine diesel engine to date sets a new benchmark for high performance and reliability, and can be teamed with the latest battery-powered E-Machine options

���ϲ�����’s new six-cylinder 13-litre marine diesel engine introduces significant fuel savings, higher levels of output, and increased reliability and durability, all aimed at meeting the needs of customers focused on reducing operating costs and emissions.

The new marine propulsion engine has a power range of 257-772 kW (350-1050 hp) and an auxiliary range of 301-553 kW subject to duty ratings, emission standards and rated speed.

The new engine, ���ϲ�����’s most advanced modular engine system yet released can also be teamed with an E-Machine for even more frugal hybrid running and even more powerful performance.

��

Further hybrid benefits are near silent running and fewer vibrations when switched to battery-only power. In EV-only mode, vessels can enter or leave harbours quietly with zero exhaust emissions.

���ϲ����� is also offering a fully electric powertrain for customers determined to reduce their emissions to zero at the point of propulsion or required to by local regulation. With new E-machine options coming next year, ���ϲ����� will be able to deliver compact electric machines rated from 150 kW to 400 kW coupled to an array of modular battery packs suitable for a cramped engine room where in-situ servicing space is at a premium. It can also repower an older vessel making it suitable for zero emission zones.

The complete integration of all hybrid or battery-only propulsion system components is controlled by a ���ϲ�����-developed management software system with a standardised customer interface, for ease of use.

In real world terms, the new engine can deliver a saving of several litres of diesel per engine hour at full load.����

The new engine has more maximum power and the capability to perform under heavy loads but is also suitable for light or medium duty or hybrid use. It is ideal for a wide range of applications, including for customers considering downsizing from higher capacity engines.

The new 13-litre complies with current IMO Tier III emission standards and is compatible with biodiesel blends and HVO fuels.����

Drawing on the technology and success of the recently introduced ���ϲ����� Super truck engine range, the new 13-litre engine has already been feted by the critics and operators alike, receiving international acclaim in the form of the European 2024 “Green Truck” award and the “Diesel Engine of the Year” award in 2023.

The marine version has been developed in concert with ���ϲ�����’s customers, and benefits from ���ϲ�����’s multi-decade experience in marine propulsion.
